Where birds are still actively nesting with eggs or chicks present, we advise on the appropriate timing to comply with UK wildlife protection legislation — active nests cannot legally be disturbed. After nest removal we check for any remaining blockage and recommend fitting a correctly sized cowl or bird guard to prevent re-nesting the following season.
