A job we’re often asked to do is to renew the eaves trays (or install as new) and this is a job we’re more than happy to do. This is usually when there are water stains showing on the ceiling where it meets the external walls due to the felt disintegrating over time from sitting in the gutters, or to provide airflow into the loft space when condensation has become an issue.

This involves stripping the roof back a few courses, installing eaves trays into the gutters, renewing the first layer of membrane, and then reinstating the original tiles. This is something that is often undertaken at the same time as renewing fascia boards, soffits, gutters and downspouts and would require a scaffold.
